Bouncy Castle Hire Ormskirk

"What a Lovely Market Town" Ormskirk is situated between the towns of Southport and St Helens and the cities of Preston and Liverpool. This Lancashire town is populated by over 24000 people and home to many a student attending the local Edge Hill University which has doubled its size in recent years but also to families enjoying the more rural setting with views of open fields and green spaces which is ideal for us at boomerang bouncy castles.

Served by rail links to Preston and Liverpool, the West Lancashire town boasts three main secondary schools with children coming from the smaller villages of Scarisbrick, Lathom, Halsall and Haskayne.

Steeped in history, Ormskirk founded the Poor Law Union. The workhouse was built in 1873 on Wigan Road and has since become the Southport and Ormskirk District General Hospital. It's twice weekly markets situated on the pedestrianized main streets with the clock tower from 1876 as the focal point. Local farmers and traders have used this market since 1292. The town itself now has a partial one way system linking the four main roads which surround the town.

Apart from the Market and schools Ormskirk is well known for its gingerbread, local ladies would bake gingerbread and sell them to passengers at the staging inns, the arrival of the railway in the mid-19th century made an increase in sales for this local delicacy. Edward VII enjoyed the gingerbread so much he had regular orders sent to the town, you can still buy gingerbread today with several bakers still making it to its original recipe, what a better treat to have than gingerbread and milk after hours jumping on one of our bouncy castles.

Halsall is situated just a stones throw from Ormskirk and started as a farming settlement which quickly grew into the village we see today. You will often see us deliver our bouncy castle hire in this area and although a small village it is served by St Cuthberts church with several local shops and community primary school and the birthplace of the Leeds - Liverpool Canal with the first sod being dug by Charles Mordaunt in 1770. The villagers hold a scarecrow festival annually where they show off their creative skills making scarecrows with a difference for their own gardens or property, a must visit if you're around the first week in July. It is a wonderful area to live, work and play. Children love to grow up in this area of North West England.

Haskayne is a quaint village next to Halsall and although small in size it's big in friendliness. With an old post office and thatched houses it's an ideal place to raise a family and to hire bouncy castles and soft play. Situated on School Lane is the local Village Hall, with a fully fitted kitchen and an amazing function room, it really is a great place for a party. Just outside the hall is a large play area and cycle track and for those who enjoy the quieter things in life a stroll along the canal watching the narrow boats go by.
