20 March 19 - First Day Of Spring

The first day of Spring and lets be honest here with the weather we've had this March it's about time the sun came out to play. This March has seen some very wet and windy weather, so much so we've had to cancel outdoor bookings as the safe windspeed of 24mph was almost doubled on some days. It's worrying though that some companies still choose to put castles out in these conditions as they don't want to lose out on a hire fee. Is it worth the risk of killing or injuring a child for the sake of £50 ! We will never compromise on safety and urge any parent to bear safety in mind when booking a Bouncy Castle. To avoid the weather you can always book a hall or venue for your party. Most halls are now requesting that Castle hire companies have at least five million pounds public liability insurance and have their castles tested by a registered safety inspector. This is where RPII and PIPA come into force. The RPII are the only inspectors accredited to test inflatables to the British Standard and PIPA is a registeration body where safety tests are registered and the inflatables Tags can be checked to show validity. As always there's no need to worry with Boomerang as we are the only company in Southport who have adopted both schemes.
